Omega Construction was founded in 1998 by Robert Halland, a second-generation carpenter who grew up watching his father build homes from the ground up in rural Kentucky. After relocating to the metro area with little more than his tools, his truck, and an unwavering belief in honest work, Robert landed his first roofing contract from a neighbor whose previous contractor had left the job unfinished.
Word spread quickly. By the end of that first year, Robert had three repeat clients and a reputation for calling back promptly, showing up on time, and fixing things right the first time. He kept a single promise on every job: treat every home like it's your own.
By 2004, demand had outpaced what Robert could handle alone. He began hiring — carefully. Every new team member went through a rigorous training program and was held to the same personal standard Robert had set from day one. No cutting corners. No upselling unnecessary work. No leaving a job site without the client feeling completely taken care of.
In 2006, Robert's daughter Elena joined the business as operations manager, bringing modern project management systems that allowed the company to scale without sacrificing quality. Together, father and daughter expanded into remodeling and commercial construction, doubling revenue within two years.
